These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Paradox HPI website and the vehicle history check services provided by Paradox HPI Ltd ("Paradox HPI", "we", "us" or "our"). By placing an order or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About us
Paradox HPI Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. Our vehicle history checks are compiled from data supplied by the DVLA, DVSA and other industry partners. References to "HPI check" describe the type of vehicle history report we provide and do not imply any affiliation with other branded products.
2. Our service
We provide vehicle data reports based on a vehicle registration mark (VRM) or vehicle identification number (VIN) that you supply. A free preview is available before purchase. The full report is a one-off digital product delivered immediately online once payment is confirmed.
The accuracy and completeness of every report depends entirely on the data made available to us by third-party sources. Some events are only recorded if a relevant party has formally notified the appropriate authority (for example, an export marker is only present if a permanent export has been formally registered). We cannot be held responsible for information that has not been reported to those sources.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and include any applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use our reports for lawful purposes only and not to resell, redistribute or systematically extract data from our service without our written permission. Each report is provided for your own use in relation to a specific vehicle enquiry.
5. Limitation of liability
Our reports are provided as guidance to support your own due diligence and are not a substitute for a physical inspection of the vehicle and its documentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
